The objectives of the Society are:


a. to organize and fund activities to help elephants lead a healthy life

b. to promote awareness activities, training and research in 
    managementof elephants and for protection of the rights and diginity 
    of elephants in general and those living in Kerala in particular

c.  to collect information and knowledge on elephants and to disseminate
     them

d.  to provide assistance in training mahouts, owners and veterinary doctors

e.  to raise necessary funds for the above purpose through contributions
     from India and abroad
